ReFlex Route 97 to Begin Thursday, January 23, 2020
Starting on Thursday, January 23, 2020, The COMET will begin ReFlex Route 97 connecting West Columbia, Lexington and Batesburg-Leesville. This pilot rural route, will operate every Thursday connecting West Columbia SuperStop at Williams Drive @ Charleston Highway and Batesburg-Leesville via Lexington. Three trips to West Columbia and two trips to Batesburg-Leesville will operate. The fare for the service is $2.00 one way and $4.00 for a day pass. Connections to other The COMET routes for travel into Columbia via Route 91 is available at West Columbia SuperStop.
The route will also deviate up to 1 mile off route for those that need door to door assistance for a $2.00 up charge and passengers can “flag” the bus in between bus stops in Batesburg-Leesville only.
