COMET Service Changes to Go into Effect September 21, 2025

Beginning September 21, 2025, changes will begin for the following routes: Route 21, Route 45, Route 101, Route 301 and Route 801. Detailed information may be found at COMET Central, on COMET buses, and at this link.

Overview:

• Route 21 will operate between Comet Central and Crowson Super Stop. It will not operate the Gills Creek/Pelham loop on its inbound trip.
• Route 45 Leesburg-Hazelwood will now operate between the Walmart Super Stop and Crowson Super Stop via the Gills Creek/Pelham loop inbound and outbound
• Route 101 will be extended from Main/Frye to Gavilan Ave. and Campanella Dr. via Main St.- Wilkes Rd. – David St. - Gavilan Ave. (Greenview Park) to Campanella Dr.
  • Route 101 will operate to Koon/Kody Super Stop on weekends only
• Route 301 will be cutback from Koon/Kody Super Stop to Gavilan Ave. (Greenview Park) and Campanella Dr.
  • At Gavilan Ave. (Greenview Park) and Campanella Dr. it will continue as Route 101 and operate via David St. – Wilkes Rd. – and continue along Main St.
• Route 801 will continue along Broad River Rd. and not operate the Dutch Square loop
• Route 801 frequency will be improved from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes weekdays from approximately 5:15 am to 7:50 pm
