UofSC Transit
The COMET is now operating UofSC Transit under contract to the University of South Carolina. UofSC Transit operates on 10 day time routes and two evening routes to make your life easy! Best of all, the ride is free for students, staff and faculty of UofSC! To board UofSC Transit, look for the Garnet UofSC Transit Stop signs located at over 30 locations around campus.

Day Routes 13-20 and Evening Routes 24-25
Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. when classes are in session
Route 20 only operates on Saturdays and Sundays between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On reduced service days, only Routes 13, 14 and 20 operate.
You can catch a bus on each route nearly every 10-30 minutes depending on the route. For exact times of routes, take advantage of the real time tracking which is available by texting “USCVMPS” and the bus stop ID number on the sign to 41411 to get real time information sent to your phone! Example: uscvmps 1840 in a text message to 41411 or visit here for details.

You can also utilize the On-Demand Shuttle by calling 803-777-1080 for travel anywhere on the UofSC Campus. For trips within and outside the UofSC Campus, check the bus for a code to use on Lyft or Uber and have the first $5.00 of your ride covered. Anything over $5.00 is your responsibility. This service is available until 3:00 a.m.
