Affected routes: Soda Caps 1 & 4 COMET: 21,42,61,91,92, and 401 Effective immediately: NO eating/drinking on the buses until the pandemic is over in order to comply with the Federal mask requirements Effective Immediately, per CDC Guidelines, Masks Must Be Worn When Using The COMET and Accessing its Facilities! The Central Midlands Regional Transportation Authority (The COMET) auctions vehicles / materials / equipment via Public Surplus. Auction opportunities will be listed on the Public Surplus website. Bids may only be placed via the Public Surplus auction website.

Public Surplus website viewing/bidding instructions:
To view the auction, select “browse by region” and then select “browse agency.” Choose agency to search: Central Midlands RTA.

Any open The COMET auction will be listed on the website. It is not necessary to register to view auctions.
