WILL BRENNAN APPOINTED TO THE COMET BOARD OF DIRECTORS Photo 1

(February 25, 2021) Columbia, SC – The Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (The COMET) announces the appointment, by the City of Columbia, of Will Brennan to its Board of Directors.

Brennan represents District 3 on Columbia City Council and grew up in the Shandon neighborhood in Columbia. He currently resides in the Hollywood-Rosehill neighborhood with his wife, Lauren, and their daughter, Thompson, and son, Joseph.

Brennan owns Brennan Works, a design and construction company and serves as director of Project Management and Project Development. His responsibilities include design coordination, construction management, and owner representation.

In addition to owning Brennan Works, Mr. Brennan owns a Commercial Real Estate Development firm, Carolina Sky Development LLC.  Mr. Brennan’s commercial real estate development firm focuses on historic preservation through adaptive reuse. His latest adaptive reuse developments include the Curtiss-Wright Hangar in Columbia (the home of Hunter-Gatherer Brewery), the Waikiki Village Motel and the Holiday Shores (retro hotels) in Myrtle Beach. Mr. Brennan’s real estate, design, and construction experience assists with his Project Management and Project Development initiatives.

He is a graduate of A.C. Moore Elementary, Hand Middle School and Dreher High School (Class of ’98).  Mr. Brennan graduated from North Carolina State University with a Degree in Economics and a minor in Operations Management.
